Jules is back from his 2nd field season, with not so good news. While his fieldwork was quite fruitful, with a wonderful fieldteam, the baboons are now struggling from the drought, and some pink infants and old females have already died. We fear an episode of mass mortality, as in 2007 when we lost half of our troops. So let's hope for early rains this year!
